One Exciting Week!

It has been one exciting week here at Foxhall Ridge. We have had two homes purchased this past week, our phenomenal model home and the last Columbus end lot, all in the same day!

That leaves us with only one move-in ready home (#937). Additionally, we only have two end lots remaining, The Keswick and The Lafayette, which will be our last two homes with rooftop terraces.

On the construction front, building four is moving incredibly fast. We still have two homes availble for sale in this row and they should be ready by August. These two Columbus lots back up to lush greenery and have great finishes through the house.

As you can see above, the construction crew has made great progress on the rain garden.

Stay tuned for our ground breaking on building 6B.

Things Are Moving Quickly!

Wow! Things have been moving quickly here at Foxhall Ridge. We are now 79% sold!

We had another sale for a Columbus home since our last blog (#940) and the construction progress on building 4 has been phenomenal (See below).

There are still two still available in this row of Columbus townhomes. Both are interior lots priced at $1,534,585.

We also had a fantastic photo shoot of our two existing Columbus lots that are still available for purchase.

This beautiful, open kitchen is great for entertaining friends and family!

As you can see above those 6′ windows allow a lot of sunlight in to make this floor bright and beautiful. There is also a lot of greenery behind these homes to give you a little more privacy and a great view.

Look below at these gorgeous finishes we picked out for the master bath. They come in all four of our amazing Columbus homes still available for sale.

The model home at Foxhall Ridge is open from Saturday through Wednesday, 11 AM – 6 PM. Contact Sales Director Matt Cheney at (202) 803-2484 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Construction Keeps on Rolling!

More great news! The framing for building 4 has started.

There are still three homes available for sale in this row including an end home.   All of the interior finishes have been ordered for these three homes.  The ordered finishes include mainly upgrades such as wood floors throughout as well as the Viking appliances upgrade for the kitchens.  The Kitchens for these homes will have differing upgraded finishes: Limestone with Brown Glaze Maple cabinetry with Bianco Romano granite counters and backsplash for Lot #940, Black painted Maple cabinetry with Delacatus granite counters and backsplash for lot #941, and Limestone with Brown Glaze Maple perimeter cabinetry with an Ebony Stained Cherry Island with Bianco Romano granite counters and backsplash in lot #942.  All three of the available homes in this row are the Columbus floor plan.  If you have not seen the two finished Columbus homes (lots #937 & #939) and their back decks a visit is in order.

One of the Keswick homes (lot #944) was purchased this past week, bringing the community to 76% SOLD.  The community is now 62% occupied and our landscaping is looking very nice thanks to the Spring rain showers.

Lot 939 (the end unit on the left) and 937 (the middle unit) are still available for sale and move-in-ready. Both lots come with three bedrooms, Viking kitchen appliances, Ebony stained Cherry kitchen cabinetry with Delicatus granite counter tops and matching backsplash. They also have a spacious outdoor deck off the main level by the kitchen.

The main differences between these two lots are that lot 939 (priced at $1,576,765) has an elevator and has wood floors throughout while lot 937 (priced at $1,484,695) has Linen White carpeting in the third floor bedrooms.

A Big Week

This is a big week for us here at Foxhall Ridge.

We now have our first couple of Columbus models framed and we are able to give hard hat tours of them. Four of the Columbus models are under contract leaving only five for sale. Two of which are end lots. The prices for the Columbus range from $1.392 to $1.477 million.

On top of starting hard hat tours for the Columbus lots we are releasing five new lots for sale as well. Two additional Augusta models, two Keswick models and the Lafayette model.

The Keswick models will be our largest. Although narrower than the Augusta, they are longer and will have great views of the Potomac River on at least three of their four floors.

The Lafayette will face MacArthur Boulevard and will almost feel like a single family house. This house has close to 3,900 SF on its three floors, has three bedrooms and will have Monumental views from its expansive rooftop terrace.

Pricing for these five lots will be released on Friday, February 1st. Contact Sales Director Matt Cheney at (202) 803-2484 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Central Park Coming Soon

Construction is coming along nicely here at Foxhall Ridge.

Our Central Park and Rain Garden should also be finished by the end of the year.

The Central Park will be nicely landscaped and centrally located for everyone to see with it’s beautiful greenery.  The Rain Garden will be on the northern side of the community and will also
be nicely landscaped with a walking path that will be ideal for exercise, walking dogs or picnicking on the lawn.

In addition to the progress on the parks, the foundation work has started for the first row of Columbus lots.

We still have an interior lot and an end lot available in that row.  Both of these homes will face our Central Park and will have three bedrooms, a rec room and a beautiful open kitchen.

This delivery for this row should be mid spring.

Fabulous Foxhall

Foxhall was named after a Scottish immigrant and former Georgetown mayor Henry Foxall who happened to also be the owner of a local cannon factory.  A spelling error on an early sign is credited with Foxall becoming Foxhall.

The neighborhood started off in the late 1800s as being an area for prominent Washingtonians to build summer homes.

A short walk from our homes is a cute row of shops located along Foxhall Road in the
epicenter of Foxhall Village.

Foxhall Village’s most noteworthy shop is of course Jetties. Jetties is best known for
their delicious sandwiches.  Additionally, they have great salads, ice cream and outdoor seating for enjoying the beautiful weather in the spring and the fall.

If you don’t feel like walking to Jetties, try the deli down MacArthur Boulevard from us. Town Square Market is a quick walk from Foxhall Ridge. Not only can you grab a bite to eat there, but they also sell beer, wine, liquor and snacks and the employees are really sweet.

Another great thing about Foxhall is that we have great access to the metro bus sytem and can get downtown easily. The D6 and D5 are the two buses that service MacArthur Boulevard. The D6 takes you to locations such as Dupont and the D5 can take you to Georgetown, Metro Center and even Union Station.

In addition to having great places to eat around Foxhall Ridge and easy access to the city there is a place to have fun outdoors as well. The Hardy Recreation Center is right down the road on Q street. They have facilities such as basketball courts, football and soccer fields, a parksite, play ground and tennis courts to play on!

Everything in the Village of Foxhall fabulous and its one more great reason for you to move into our townhouses here at Foxhall Ridge.

Two more homeowner’s move in!

We had two more closing this past week and now have three of our homes occupied.  Over the next two months we will have most of our Enclaves homes finished and ready for their buyers to move. Here is a photo that shows the front yards of building 2A that now has two of
its owners moved in and the third scheduled to do so this upcoming week.

The C&O Canal

Another perk to living at Foxhall Ridge is having access to both the C & O Canal and the Capital Crescent Trail.

The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal was claimed a national monument in 1961 by President Eisenhower.

The Canal about 185 miles long and connects the tidewater on the Potomac River in Washington D.C. with the headwaters of the Ohio River in western Pennsylvania.

You can enjoy the nature of the C&O Canal National Park. and the beautiful scenery it offers.

All 185 miles of the Towpath from Georgetown to Western Maryland can be hiked, biked or if you prefer you can even fish in the canal.

The C & O Canal is also a great place to canoe, horseback ride or even walk your dog.

In addition to the Canal, the Capital Crescent Trail is also accessible to homeowners living at FoxHall Ridge. The trail is great for biking and jogging from Georgetown to the shops and restaurants in Bethesda.
